My opinion has a lot to do with my being 84 years old. The Rivivera Water Pitcher does the job of cleaning my drinking water very well, it taste good, but the problem I have is that it's heavy for me to fill and put in my refrigertor. Brita 42632 Riviera 64-Ounce Water Pitcher and 1 Filter This Brita pitcher was purchased as a gift for a bridal shower. For that reason, I neither opened the package nor used the product. I own a Brita pitcher and am happy with it, but it's an older model, not this particular one. I assume the chrome is more attractive and probably safer than my model, which is all plastic, and the new one could possibly make the water taste better.
My biggest problem was with the shipping, not the product. Unfortunately, the week I needed it was an extreme weather week (Midwest snowstorms), so that my order ended up in half a dozen cities or so before it arrived. It didn't come in time for the shower, and I had to ship it to the bride's home.
